Geometric Stained-Glass Lights: Baroque

In a floral pattern a crooked seam disappears among the petals. In geometry it shows immediately: every line is straight, every repeat identical, any deviation reads from two metres away. A geometric shade is an honest test of how the glass was cut and soldered.

In practice it is the calmest option of all: it neither argues with the interior nor dates. If the lamp is not for one season but for a desk or a study for years, this is where to start.
